My April Show!!!!
The dead line for this show will be April 27, 2000. Judging will be March 14 - 16 (depending on entry #). I will try to notify all winners by the evening of the 17th.
The Rules!
Hi, it,s me Dusty. I'm here doing my job as mascot of Drift Cattery; I'm here with the show rulez!
You are limited to two catz per section. They should be in bmp form so I can get to them easy. There will be one best of show selected for each kind of animal. This means 1 dog, 1 horse, 1 rabit, 1 cat, etc... Any pose is welcome unless other wise stated. Originality wins the judges attention. I would recomend you see Vickie's Cattry to see what a show pose is. There is more than one. I will except the streach, standing and lieing down poses for show pose. ONE EMAIL PER CATAGORY!!!! This means only two pics per mailing and make your email subject the catagory you are entering. Points are like everyone elses 5-best of show, 4-firist, 3-second, 2-third, UNLESS THERE IS A TIE. Also see the special TriAthalon!!
Here is what I need from you!
Owners Name and E-mail address (if you are not the owner your name and address as well as owners)
Call name and Show name (You must have both on anything that is in show pose & for the TriAthalon or forfit that catagory)
Age (Adult, kitten or Puppy, Infant, Newborn) & Gender (boy or girl)
Breed
Please No titles! (Leave them out of the show name)

This is Sophie, her tail is a little bent to be a
perfect pic of show pose and her chest sould be puffed more.
This is TryCoya her pose is pretty close to
perfect but her chest could also be puffed out more.
You all should know Dusty by now.
Even though he is a researved champ. he is showing the really bad show pose.
His
back legs need to be seperated, Front ones need to be alined and straight, His tail is too
curved and he's just not standing straight.

(as may have figured I joined the sitefights recently and they are big on spirit, and so am I, so have your pet show me their spirit)

(This must have a detailed explanation of trick and can be with or without a toy)
TriAthalon:
(SEE Special Rules Below!)
This will be a seprate show!! There will be no best of show and only three places . (NO TIES!) Points are different for this show
1st is worth 10 points
2nd is worth 6 points
3rd is worth 4 points
(This because its three pictures of the same animal!)
I need pics (with written detail in the emailing) of the following:
A trick (Without a toy)
Standing Show Pose (Make sure it's standing!!)
An Edited picture displaying something to do with the current month.
(Example: In March St.Pactrick's day, Kite flying, or the first day of spring. In April Passover, Easter, Earth day, or daylight savings. Or come up with your own!)
All these pics in the triatholon must have written details on what it shows!!!!! The email heading should have TriAtholon/[what month you are entering]. I will start with March 2000 and go to the last day of each month. Judging will be done on the 1st and 2nd (unless this gets too big). I will try to notify winners by the 3rd. There is a limit of 1 animal per owner! Every January I will run two of these; The 1st place winners can come back for a 15 point best of the year show (there will be one winner).
Yes, this is kind of big and has alot to it, but it has big points to be won and will give you serious show goers a bit of a challenge.

Here is the standard point system that is most recognised:
Best of Show: 5 points
First Place: 4 points
Second Place: 3 points
Third Place: 2 points
Hon. Mention (4th place): 1 point
When you cat accumulates the following amount of points he/she gains these titles:
5 points - Reserve Champion
10 points - Champion
15 points - Grand Champion
20 points - Master Grand Champion
30 points - Supreme Grand Champion
Note on points: Since there is no controlling organisation that confers point or titles upon catz, it is up to the owners of the winnerz to do so. Therefore, you may use a different standard of scoring. We don't mind if you use whatever scoring system you please.
